Forbes publishes a list of the world's billionaires, and in 2008 Moscow was home to 74, more than any other city in the world (New York City was second, with 71).
The typical Moscow billionaire is a man in his late 30s to mid-50s with an average net worth of $5.9 billion. The city's richest, Oleg Deripaska, made his fortune in the aluminum industry. With a net worth of $28 billion, he's the ninth richest person in the world.]]>

banyas as they're called in Russia, traditionally never had a place for eating or resting. But now Russian bathers have the option of going to baths where they can enjoy cold beer and dried fish and take breaks from the steam room to play billiards.
