Cradled in the buttress roots of a forest giant, two men watch the end of a rainstorm. For months at a time Fays expedition trudges through the forest and the thick mud of Africas rainy season.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR COMMENTS:
Although supplied with high-tech sandals and rain gear, the older man, Badzaba, walked barefoot for more than 200 days. He joined the Megatransect for the adventure, not the salary. I wanted this one to be published because it says something and relays a feeling about the forest and the Pygmies that only a photograph could convey.
