Submersible Recovery

Swimmers dive into the Pacific after escorting the submersible Alvin back to safety on it home ship, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution vessel Atlantis. Veteran of more than 3,500 dives to the bottom of the ocean, Alvin has provided indispensable service to deep-sea researchers from all over the world.
