Ready, aim, fire! Fortunately flames are not part of the action during Bowlus Fun Days, a Fourth of July celebration featuring “water wars” that pit teams of volunteer firefighters from neighboring towns against each other. Dan Kaiser, at left, and Jeff Dingmann of the Royalton Fire Department face off against another team as they take aim at a target. Who won? “I forget,” says Kaiser. “It was just good fun. And the overspray really helped cool off the crowd.”
