A photograph within a photograph recalls the enthronement of Emperor Akihito. The display on the palace grounds in November 1999, part of the tenth anniversary ceremony, includes the Emperor’s specially built Rolls-Royce sedan, with its gold chrysanthemum seal, symbol of the imperial family.
