Northernmost point of the Turkish mainland, Incebrun is the site of the oldest human occupation yet found on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. For five summers members of a National Geographic Society–sponsored team examined known archaeological sites and discovered more than a hundred new ones on Turkey’s Sinop Peninsula.
