His Master’s Voice?
Photograph by Cary Wolinsky

Low maintenance traveling companion, a Jack Russell terrier waits for the return of its master, or mistress. Women compose up to 15 percent of the trucking force, and many of them have dogs. Drivers have to supply their own pooches but can get most other necessaries at the truck stop, including a satellite TV mounted on a truck in minutes.
