Sleep in Good Company

Two and a half months of patience earned photographer Mattias Klum a wonderful gift: a lioness that trusted him so much she once fell into a deep sleep in his presence. Though the lions sometimes attack people—most often following severe drought—they became remarkably tolerant of Mattias over time.
