Daylight fades but the chatter doesn’t at Nokomis, a summer camp for girls on Bear Island, New Hampshire. Before dinner the girls can take a dip in Lake Winnipesaukee, take a class, or take a seat in front of their cabins and catch up. “That’s part of the wonder of camp,” says director Debbie Parker. “You just get to hang out with your friends.” |
