Twenty minutes and thirty cents gets this street musician a ferry ride across continents. Istanbul sits, literally, on both Europe and Asia, divided by the Bosporus Strait. A key means of daily transportation and commerce, this fabled waterway is the lifeblood of Istanbul—a city of nine million people and Turkey’s commercial heart.
