Fast Frog Photograph by Joel Sartore
A red-legged frog, part of the biological treasure trove of Clayoquot Sound's temperate coastal rain forest, takes a break near Tofino. Though only three to four inches (10 centimeters) long, a red-legged frog can maneuver through the rain forest faster than a human, using long low hops to sail beneath fallen branches. |
