Sidetracked by rain, sisters Pha and Anh Than, squatting left to right, take cover on their porch. "America is big, beautiful, and clean," say the girls in their recently adopted language. When their family immigrated to Little Saigon just last year, the girls finally met their aunt—a woman who was just a girl herself when she came to the United States 18 years ago as a refugee. Now a citizen, she was able to sponsor her own family.
