After working a long week in Little Saigon's local factories, Phong Nguyen, center, and his friends have Saturday evening beers on the balcony of his apartment. With only an occasional day off, Phong and his friends spend their downtime enjoying the universal pastime of youth: hanging out. Although they've adopted American habits and speak English, these guys spend most of their time with other Vietnamese, speaking in their native language—a bond in a foreign land. |
