In The Garden City, concrete monks, angels, and archers stand ready for yard duty. "We've also got golf carts, plumbing fixtures, hubcaps, and supplies for your van," says Versity Gray, whose family runs this eclectic emporium, called Grimes Gift Shop.

Special Equipment or comments: This was an unexpectedly tough place to shoot. The owners of the shop only gave me a few minutes to work, and wouldn't allow any customers or staff to be photographed. So the light is bad and setting is a little lonely, but the place speaks for itself. |
