A young forest elephant in Langoué Bai playfully charges toward a forest buffalo with an egret that tags along for the ride. Forest buffalo are much smaller than their cousins, the Cape buffalo, but can be equally dangerous. Buffalo rarely stray far from water and are regulars at the bai.
