Leave it to college students to take fund-raising to extremes. At North Dakota State University in Fargo, members of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and Kappa Delta sorority host a four-day Freeze-A-Thon to raise money for an area homeless shelter. Between munching on donated Krispy Kreme donuts and Papa Johns' pizza, "you're sleepy and cold and you're wondering how an hour out there can seem like eight," said Brad Seifert, at left, with Josh Malnourie and Stacy Broermann.
