Knowing they soon must part, Facundo Gallo and girlfriend Magiee Valdez tango lovingly at the club Niño Bien in Buenos Aires. Days later Facundo left to spend six months teaching tango in Japan—a chance to make money abroad during hard economic times at home. "It was a passionate embrace, a kind of secret pact," he says of their final dance, "a promise to stay together beyond time and space."
