Duane Stewart puts his feet up as he joins co-workers Steven "Pee Wee" Evans, center, and Larry Jenkins for a breather during a long day at work at the sprawling Boeing aircraft plant in Wichita, Kansas. The trio operates machinery to make parts for the six commercial airliner models made at the plant. After recent cutbacks and layoffs due to a slump in the travel industry, some employees have started working ten-hour days to compensate for the short-staffed workforce.
