With her lush lawn as a stage, Greenwich, Connecticut, damsel Alexandra dances in an ensemble drawn from her dress-up box, crowned with a Rapunzel hat that she had worn at her birthday party, held earlier at a dance studio. After this idyllic solo, she's off to a tennis lesson at the yacht club. "It's exciting when your child can take advantage of these things," says Alexandra's mother, Michelle, who appreciates the privileged lifestyle that many enjoy in this affluent community. A former North Carolinian (with a fake ponytail of her own), Michelle adds, "It is sort of fantastical around here."
