"It's a great life," said Dave's boss Chris Stoney. "Very rewarding." But with the pleasure of leading a lifestyle so strongly rooted in Australian history comes a duty. "Living a bit of a myth, you feel a responsibility to upkeep it," explained Stoney. "You tend to chase a bit of publicity to try to stay there, where that's not our nature. I'd rather lead a quiet life and do what we're doing."
