Dog Days of the Wet

With dogs standing by, neighbors Don Abraholl and Bernie Mead perch on rocks beside the muddy memory of a dirt road that has mired their truck a few yards away. They're stuck just off the main road east of Wyndham. Of the 30 or so inches of rain that drench Wyndham each year, 80 percent falls between December and March.
