Coffee drinks to go help fuel the dashing pace of a Manhattan morning. Part of New York City's buzz comes from the 148 stores that Seattle-based coffee giant Starbucks has opened here since 1994—outlets of a caffeine-powered operation that includes some 6,000 coffeehouses across the United States and another 2,500 around the world (so far).
