Edith Diehl prepares the top crust for one of her renowned apple pies. In the decade since her family opened Martha's Kitchen, she's baked hundreds of pies from old family recipesapple, blueberry, rhubarb, coconut macaroonand she's served them to people from all over the world. "We've had guests from Mexico, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Spain, and South America," she says. It's a good bet none of them went home hungry.
