An expert's touch goes into this garden on Bryn Mawr Avenue, lovingly tended by Holly Shimizu, executive director of Washington's U.S. Botanic Garden, and her husband, Osamu, at right. Holly and Osamu's creation includes a Buddha in a bed of moss and a frog-filled pool. During spring thinning season, Glen Echo neighbors often swap garden plants.
