Master of the grasses, a capybara rolls in vegetation along a stream bank. Averaging 120 pounds (50 kilograms), the world's largest rodents are at home on land or in water, feeding on aquatic plants and grasses. Webbed feet keep it steady in the boggy Pantanal, where it can be seen browsing among the region's six million ranched cattle.
