The Nelson Touch
|
Defying conventional warfare, the admiral ordered his captains to split the British fleet and spear the enemy's line—called crossing the T—to create a "pell-mell battle," which he called the "Nelson Touch." Based on an 1848 map, this illustration depicts his strategy.
