Ready for Action
Photograph by Christian Ziegler

Emerging from the tangle of vegetation where he often beds down for the day, a young, radio-collared ocelot begins his nightly prowl at sunset. Although ocelots are active during the day, the bulk of their activity is at night, when their keen eyes give them an edge in the murky depths of the jungle.
