Ice Art Photograph by Norbert Rosing
Wind, water, willows, and light sculpt abstract art on a cold November day. Just north of Wapusk, on one of the area's countless small lakes, the breeze whipped water from wave tops and sprayed willow bushes on shore. Water dripped from the willows, froze, and formed the image. "The low sun 'painted' the ice with color," says photographer Rosing.
