Jem, Atticus's son, has been hurt by Bob Ewell, Mockingbird's villain. Scout (Hannah Brown) explains to Atticus (Brannon Bowman), that a stranger came to Jem's rescue. "And there he is," Scout says, pointing to a man in coveralls who is clearly discomfited by the attention. It's the reclusive Boo Radley (Bob Champion). But the shy Boo can only tolerate being out in public so much. "Miss Jean Louise, will you take me home?" he asks Scout.
