Barefoot on the Beach Photograph by Tyrone Turner
Shortly after exchanging vows, bride Eileen Nugent Williston celebrates her August 2005 nuptials with her bridesmaids on the beach of Onset, Massachussetts. She and her husband, James Williston, who has Native American ancestry, opted to be married barefoot in a tepee erected on the sands. "The ceremony was all about the natural world we live in," says Eileen. "We chose the tepee because its only impact on the environment is holes in the sand."
