Until Katrina, Carmen Quintero (left) and Ramona Van Horn worked at a Holiday Inn in Gulfport, Mississippi. After the hurricane, with both their homes in ruins, they also lived there. Quintero, who works in the restaurant, and Van Horn, who owns the hotel bar, have since seen hundreds of other refugees and aid workers pass through the hotel.
