Among the thousands of rock art sites on the Colorado Plateau, the famous "rainbow panel" above Rochester Creek in Utah's San Rafael Swell is in a world of its own. Though the human-like figures are similar to those in Horseshoe Canyon, they are joined by fierce, supernatural animals and a copulation scene unlike any others found in Utah. The age and artists remain unknown.
