Joining a crowd of worshippers, a boy presents an offering of food at a Hindu temple devoted to Hanuman, a monkey deity called upon for energy and strength. The million people living in Dharavi are almost equally split between Hindus and Muslims. Tensions between the two groups sporadically flare up in the cramped slum.
