Camper
Photo and caption by Kody Sparks
I met Camper in January of 2010. I had been documenting the homeless youth in San Diego, CA. The day I met him, I drove him to the hospital because he had a sore similar to a pimple on his forehead that had popped and was leaking mucus. This was a result of an injury he had gotten when he was 16, he had fallen off of a cliff and punctured his forehead. He developed chronic sinusitis, and needed to get surgery to clean the infection. This photo was taken in March of 2010, two weeks after his brain surgery. He recovered from the surgery on the streets.

In the wings
Photo and caption by Francis Frog
This image of a young french actor was shot in the wings of a theatre a few seconds before the beginning of the play. This was just a glance, but I believe the mirror was able to tell him a story of fame, youth, beauty, time and death.

Untitled
Photo and caption by manuel marano
Dhaka, Bangladesh 2010. From the series "Bricks' Field". Due to the concentration of investments Dhaka has experienced massive migration and urbanization, as a direct consequence, the urban building industry has quickly grown to satisfy city needs. “Bricks' Fields” are both places where the bricks production takes place and locations where building materials arrive from the production companies, usually on boats, to be accumulated and sold. People is still working by the piece. In the picture a young man from a workers' family during a break. Even children are employed to support their family

Time stands still
Photo and caption by Saskia Marloh
This couple in the streets of Uyuni, Bolivia caught my attention and touched me deeply, they seem both so fragile and so together at the same time. Right at the edge of a wide street, between modern cars, helping each other to cross the street and at the other side advertising for telecomunication and developing pictures, catering to another generation. Time seems to stand still during this split second in that I capture strange worlds and time that elaspes, but this woman and this man stand by each side.

Portrait of an old woman in village.
Photo and caption by Dovile Dagiene
This photograph was taken in small Lithuanian village. It seems that people in villages works all their life and time during the day, so they are always carrying something in their hands. I was very impressed of the characters and beauty of old people from villages. Specially beauty of their hands.
