The black-and-white hawk-eagle is one of the most beautiful birds of prey of the jungles of Central and South America. It inhabits the jungles in Argentina’s northern provinces of Misiones, Salta and Jujuy, where it feeds on all types of small vertebrates. Half white and half black, its appearance is unmistakable; a small crest forms a black spot on top of its head.
Location: Iguazu, Misiones, Argentina
