After several months of filming for a documentary about agriculture development in rural Kenya, we were surprised one day to see a strange looking stick placed proudly in the center of the land at one of the farmer's house. When we asked what it was we were told that the kids were trying to imitate their visitors. It took us a second to realize that their visitors meant us and that the curious stick was made to imitate our tripods. Within a few minutes several other kids appeared, each with their own makeshift tripod toys, and using shoes as cameras we all played cameraman together.
