Roma who have come as refugees from all over Europe, mostly Kosovo, have been living for years in tents and shacks through summers where temperatures soar to 46 degrees Celsius, and winters where they drop to -20. the majority are undocumented and therefore have limited access to health and education services. The main source of income for residents is recycling.
