While working on an organic farm in Spring Mills, PA, we were able to check out the produce and livestock auction over in Belleville. I got this shot through the gate at the far end of the cattle preview room where men are seen chatting and taking notes about 20 minutes prior to the auction. We stayed for the first half-hour of the bidding. What a surreal scene - some horses went for less than 100 bucks!
