A cormorant perches on a tree branch in North Pond in Chicago IL during an autumn rain shower. Yes that's right, nature in the city! Rain or shine, north pond is THE place for a lovely stroll when you want to feel connected to nature in the city. It is one of my favorite places in the city to take a stroll with my husband and bird watch.
