This is a photo of my friend Peter after a long night at La Perla, a venue in Cádiz, Spain known for its flamenco performances. We were excited for a break from the chirigotas, satirical songs we had been hearing for weeks as a part of carnival. As it turned out, the night we went was not a night of flamenco, but of more chirigotas.
