This photograph on the summit of Gunung Rinjani shows an aerial view of the rugged terrain and crater lake of the ancient volcano. A growing cone in the middle of the lake known as Gunung Barujari (or new finger) smolders in the shadows of the crater rim, threatening to become the monster caldera of the past.
