As I sat enjoying the unusual chillness in Chennai, I caught this moment of magic outside my home, where i saw this drop of rain water hanging from the stem of a branch from this huge tree. I was lucky to capture the droplet just ahead of its fall - a second before or after would not have been the same. What struck me was the natural darkness during the noon. Rains can change the mood of a day, and on this lazy afternoon I could just make out why. The pores on the leaves are illuminated and the droplets on the leaf suraface add to the beauty. A rather serene moment on a chilly rainy afternoon.
