My Father

During the last days of my father's life, he believed the tumor in his brain was affecting his vision. It was, in fact, his eyes were reshaping themselves, as he had stopped using his hard lenses after 40 years. He could not see clearly for the last year of his life. He couldn't read. He couldn't watch television clearly. He couldn't clearly see my niece's face. In spite of all that, he posed for this portrait. He could still enjoy my exploration of capturing cool moments through art, which was also one of his passions.
