A young boy selling food in a cold night while porters are working during the Market day in Chichicastenango. Chichicastenango is a little town that hosts an ancient Mayan market located in the Guatemalan mountains at an altitude of 6,440 feet. Mayan people from all over the region travel for miles the day before the market to set up their booths and to prepare for the next day, hoping to sell their merchandise. The town is empty during the rest of the week, but on market day it comes to life. Porters spend the entire day carrying materials and merchandise for few cents por trip.
