This photograph is from a series I've been working on documenting a close friend of mine and her struggle with bulimia. The series examines her behaviors, belongings, and environment in an attempt to understand why she is the way she is. In this particular image, I managed to capture an honest moment of frustration and weariness in the midst of her self-directed scrutiny.
