The nest had not been occupied for over 10 years so with a remote triggered camera placed at the base of a nest I wanted to capture a scene showing the vast open area behind them from a wide angle perspective. I captured this shot of two baby Golden Eagles near Craig, Colorado. Watching from a distance through a scope and triggering it when I saw movement. I got this shot when one of them woke up. I later pulled the camera from the nest to give them there space.
