This Momma bird arrives in Red-tailed splendor, greeting her miracle hatchling. The incubation period for Red-tailed Hawks is estimated at 28-35 days. This was Baby #1's "hatchday" on day 38! Baby #2 hatched on its day 38 as well and Baby #3 hatched on day 36. The two oldest offspring survived to adulthood.
