I went to Gua Lawang--the sacred Bat Cave Temple of Bali--specifically to photograph the bats. I'd seen pythons in Gua Lawan previously, and figured they were eating the bats, but never even hoped to be so lucky as to see a snake and a bat interacting like this. It was mid-day on 4 August 2010.
