I clicked this picture in the evening time at Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. Lesser whistling ducks gather together in an uniform order. This species has a long grey bill, long head & longish legs.It has a buff head, neck and underparts & a darker crown. The back and wings are darkish grey & there are chestnut patches on the wings and tail. They formed a team.An Aault lead the flock. There was particular order & discipline which they were swmming in the water. The adult was making sound when its time to turn or stop. It looked very much like a military platoon, something I have never seen before.
