Up in the sky

Sunsets present us with a beautiful range of warm colours, all the more if we get to witness one from up in the sky. As a frequent flier, I make it a point to carry my camera when possible especially on those evening flights. This was shot on a flight in India end of 2010 - I think it was between Mumbai and Chennai. I felt this photo fit best into the category 'Places' - being up in the sky, above the clouds and getting to witness such a soothing experience - I just wish every flight would present an opportunity like this. I felt at home in the calm, warm environs that enveloped my flight.
